I noted the curriculum standards which support your essential question. I'm still unclear about the concepts you are developing to help students understand the connection between the EQ and your lesson/content questions. Are you suggesting that WWII raised expectations among Black soldiers and made the segregation they faced when they returned to the homefront unacceptable? When the Black soldiers returned stateside they faced continuing segregation in housing, transportation, education. How did WWII lead to Brown v Bd of Education or Civil RIghts Acts of 1965? Or was there something in between the end of WWII and these other larger events? Desegregation of the military? Umich
Power Points and Prezis: Very informative Prezi on Double V campaign 10/10 Lots of information on GI Bill ppt. with pictures that supported the ideas on the slides 10/10 Double "V" Prezi
my pp is on a timer and a loop for bell work it should run itself Jamison, your ppt on Vanport was a little confusing. I understand the intent of the images in the bottom right hand corner of the slides but many students may not recognize them. 9/10
Ok team, I posted our lesson and have now answered that first page of questions from what we talked about in class. Hopefully we can easily just fill out the rest of that table at the end using the Magi lesson we already created. Woot! - Meredith
So, I'm not really sure what exactly she's looking for as far as a presentation goes. I don't know if we present one at a time and have access to the computer or if it is a gallery walk where we need a poster. So I created a ppt slide that could easily double as a poster. --RF
